"Dottie has made many replicas of buildings beginning around 1985. She made a replica of the old Franklin High School that is absolutely beautiful and very accurate in detail. She began doing the schools because it was demolished but the minature makes school memories stay alive.  Everyone always comments on how talented she is. She is an accomplished and creative artist -- paints, designs, draws. She is a skilled woodworker, using her artistic abilities to create one of a kind items."
